Serial Healthtech Entrepreneur and Investor Andrew Schwab joins Itiliti Health’s Board of Directors

Seasoned healthcare professional brings nearly three decades of high-level industry experience to the rapidly-growing healthtech startup.

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN — (September 27th, 10am EST 2022) — Itiliti Health, a healthcare technology solutions startup that helps payers streamline their prior authorization (PA) processes, today announces it has appointed Andrew Schwab to its Board of Directors.

Schwab, Managing Partner at Excelerate Health Ventures and successful entrepreneur in the healthcare industry, has held C-Level roles at four separate technology companies – ranging from internet software development to personalized medicine – over the past 25 years. His experience in building and growing technology-focused startups has resulted in two successful exits, and two companies being featured in the Triangle Fast 50 for their outstanding revenue growth.

Schwab is an active investor and the founder of South Carolina-based RTP Capital, which was recently recognized by the Angel Capital Association as one of the most active investor networks in its region. At Excelerate Health Ventures, as Managing Partner he focuses on early-stage healthcare software companies with SaaS B2B models.

Most recently he led the resurgence of the First Flight Venture Center, mentoring 30 healthcare technology companies in a wide range of complex business issues including financing, operational challenges, and strategic mergers and acquisitions.

Schwab holds an M.S. and PhD. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia, as well as a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Duke University.
