Itiliti Health Appoints New Member to Advisory Board to Aid Growth Strategy

New appointment will help position the growing HealthTech company at the forefront of an evolving industry.

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN — (April 20, 2022) — Itiliti Health, a healthcare technology solutions company that helps payers streamline their prior authorization (PA) processes, today announces the appointment of James Voiland to the company’s advisory board.

Voiland’s healthcare industry leadership experience is unique in its perspective and depth in that it draws from a rich background of vice president and c-suite level operations positions at a number of large insurance groups. As an advisor to Itiliti Health, Voiland’s expertise will serve as invaluable when it comes to ways in which the company can streamline efficiency and maximize customer satisfaction.

With a talent for devising and executing strategic clinical and operational initiatives, Voiland has been the architect of cost-saving measures designed to capture fresh revenue sources and promote expansion at some of the largest private insurers in the United States, including Blue Shield of California, Amerigroup in Texas, CareSource in Ohio and Molina Healthcare in Texas.

“I have had the good fortune to work with great teams at outstanding organizations, working to efficiently leverage technology to significantly improve operations and realize substantial savings,” Voiland said. “Itiliti Health is a company that is hyper-focused on impacting lives. I’m honored to join its Advisory Board and to work alongside the team to continue transforming the healthcare industry.”

Voiland’s expertise clearly lies in drafting and implementing process improvement methods designed to streamline operational efficiency and increase member engagement. Early in Voiland’s career he initiated tactical expansion plans designed to grow El Paso First Health Plan’s product line beyond the Medicaid population, to more than double memberships (45K to 100K+) in under three years.

“We’re working towards important goals at Itiliti Health, and we have an enormous opportunity ahead of us. Voiland’s addition to our Advisory Board will enable us to further execute on our strategy and reinforce our commitment to customers,” said Michael Lunzar, Co-Founder and CEO of Itiliti Health.

The news follows the announcement this month of Itliti Health being named a Preferred Vendor by the Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP), a national trade association headquartered in Washington, D.C. that represents 74 not-for-profit safety net health plans. ACAP member plans serve more than 20 million enrollees through Medicaid, Medicare, health insurance marketplaces, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and other publicly supported government programs.
