EDEN PRAIRIE, MN — August 6, 2025 — Itiliti Health, a leader in prior authorization automation and healthcare interoperability, is pleased to announce that Michael Lunzer, CEO and Co-Founder, has been appointed Co‑Chair of the WEDI Prior Authorization Subworkgroup. The appointment was first publicly announced during WEDI’s Summer Forum on August 5th.
The WEDI (Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange) Prior Authorization Subworkgroup convenes representatives across payer, provider, vendor, and standards organizations to collaboratively define strategies and standards to modernize and streamline prior authorization workflows. As Co‑Chair, Lunzer will work alongside peers to identify industry pain points, promote adoption of modern standards (including FHIR), enhance transparency, and help reduce administrative overhead throughout the prior authorization supply chain.
